The IHP Friendly Flyer #1999- MAD magazine
Checking in for one of my final posts of the year (yeah, I only posted one other time this year).
It was a hectic year (which will be explained in THE final post of the year).
I was very lucky this year and got to work on a bunch of stuff. BUNCH of stuff. Hence the lack of posts.
Anyway, one of the greatest publications ever asked me to contribute illustrations, not once but THREE Times, this year!
The first one was for the extra special “Weird AL” Yankovic guest-edited issue (of MAD).

Gots a bunch of art here!About a month ago, I started work on some TMNT season FIVE characters.
A couple months before that, Nickelodeon began airing TMNT season 4.
It’s hard to believe it’s been over four years since I started working on this jam.
Here are some of my favorite (never before posted) pieces of my work from the first 3 seasons.
I have so many files from my time on this show I’d really love to post someday.
Most of it is old, and just a matter of me sorting through it. The rest can’t be shown just yet.

Yeah it’s been more than a minute. Still designing characters for TMNT , still coloring for Scholastic. MAD Magazine #533 is on the stands, have a 2 page illustration in that. More color work on deck. Just finished some more MAD Magazine goodness. Goosebumps will be out soon.

I wasn’t going to post anything Teen Heaven related, since it’s been a struggle trying to get this thing done. And I’ve been going on about it for the last ten years. But then I thought, as a birthday present to myself, I’ll post a few pages from what I’ve been picking at. I think I may finally have a system to get this thing out of my head and onto the screen/page. It’s been start/stop, start/stop, fix, redo, start/stop since (literally) ten years ago. I have a schedule worked out for kicking it with this thing on a regular basis, and I still plan to post a panel daily (or about daily) at www.teenmtp.com.
